With the second version of GSkills, we are taking a new step in the way organizations learn, adapt and measure the adoption of Google Workspace, Gemini and ChromeOS.
The second version of GSkills is above all a complete overhaul, both technical and visual. We have completely redesigned the user experience and interface to make them simpler, faster and more intuitive. Everything has been designed so that skills development and monitoring are naturally integrated into the daily lives of your teams.
A modern and scalable technical base
This second version marks a total overhaul of our architecture. We now use more modern, lighter and much more flexible technologies, which allows us to deploy new things several times a day. This evolution gives us the freedom to experiment, improve and deliver at a rapid pace without interruption for users.
Integrated and powerful statistics
Statistics are now directly integrated into the application, offering a real-time view of progress and adoption. This gives us much more flexibility than the old system based on Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio), and allows us to go further: measure engagement, track learning points, observe demand in order to focus content on what your company needs.
A connection to the Google Admin console is coming soon: it will allow you to track real adoption within your environment. For example, you will be able to see the use of Gemini App evolve over time, directly correlated to the skills development of your employees via GSkills.
The GSkills AI assistant
We are also introducing the GSkills AI assistant, an intelligent companion capable of answering all your questions about Google Workspace, Gemini and ChromeOS. This assistant can also reference your own internal documents, to offer contextualized and adapted answers to your organization.
A global and multilingual experience
GSkills v2 is now available in more than 15 languages, with the possibility of adding additional languages on demand. Whether your teams are in Paris, Montreal, São Paulo or Tokyo, they can learn, interact and progress in their own language.
